The Goshen Small Business Assoc. was formed in response to a growing need for an active business organization that was aggressive in its approach to developing and maintaining a vibrant business community in Goshen and the immediate vacinity.

The recently completed identification of Goshen's "Town Center" and the finalization of the Rt. 28 Corridor study has positioned Goshen for rapid business expansion. It is critical that the business community be prepared to assist and control that development.

The regulations of the organization require:

1.   All members must "shop" (not buy) with other members prior to purchase.
2.   All members must offer a discount to other members.
3.   We host 4 "networking" meetings per year (no other meetings) Participation is strongly encouraged.
4.   All members are encouraged to recruit and sponsor new members.
5.   The GSBA will work with Goshen Community Improvement Corporation (GCIC) and Goshen Township Department of Community & Econimic Development (CED).


Membership in the organization is restricted to those "for-profit" businesses who will be "active" and not simply pay dues. No individuals, non-profit or public entities may join. It is the GSBA belief that success will only occur if members are serious about enhancing their individual business as well as the surrounding business community.



 

All to often, residents try to shop close to their home, but information about local business products & services is unavailable.

This site is designed for use by CONSUMERS and AREA BUSINESSES. Through communication on this site, an informed consumer market and an aggressive business community will evolve.

We encourage our members to fully utilize this web site to promote their business and any special event in which they are involved. We also encourage use of the event calendar.

Consumers will increasingly take advantage of this site to learn about our growing business community, find employment, and to locate promotions.
